This is a lovely watercolour Chris, I like everything about it from the great sky to the middle distance tones on the trees and fields along with the treatment of the water and reflections which are well painted and not overdone , which can sometimes happen ( well with me sometimes !!) A really accomplished piece of work this from an artist who clearly loves the medium of watercolour, Regards Graham

Beautifully painted, Chris. I can but admire your great skill; Graham, really, has said it all.

I gree with the above comments Chris, a wonderful talent you have.

Chris, great style and palette - puts me in mind of Fletcher-Watson . I enjoyed looking through your gallery. You have a great technique and skill in what, for me at least, is the superior medium.

Brilliant, and wonderful watercolour - hard to see how it could be bettered. Lovely light, reflections, colours, shapes..... An extremely satisfying painting - great sense of shape and movement.

I really like your style Chris, an excellent piece of work. Thanks also for the comment in my gallery.

I love your limited choice of colours, Chris. This is so beautiful!

A smashing little spot along the Sherborne Brook (which is a tributary to the Windrush River) although seen here on a rather overcast day. At this particular location the scene also boasted some of the typical field boundry fencing which adjoins the river along this stretch (and can be found at various points along the two rivers. There were plenty of cows in the field behind me, whos smell made the countryside seem "very countrified indeed!" and the wind direction did not help to relieve this either! However it did nothing to put off the two little Moorhens that found their way into the picture! Bockingford 250lb Not Paper.
