Another line and wash in my Tiger Aspect cartridge sketch book. The initial ink drawing is minimal; it's too quick to dominate so I use it in a limited way, but I have used a slightly broader pen, probably a 0.3, in a couple of places to depict the boundaries of layers of foliage and in that way give some layered structure to the leaf canopy. Colours are fresh and bold while shadow patterns hint at the lie of the land. The view is from the car park at the Old School in Dore, where I hold my various courses.
