I'm a member of two urban sketching groups, one Yorkshire-based and one world-wide. With 67,000 members you can imagine why hundreds of images find their way to me from the world-wide group via Facebook - it's always daylight somewhere; we're not all on GMT. I carry a 7" square sketchbook around with me most of the time ( Tiger Stores) and some kit to make marks because you never know what might present itself. This line and wash is done with a waterproof fine liner (Staedtler Mars/ Pilot/ UniPen, whatever) and paint from my trusty sketchers box - by far the fastest way to get something sensible down in colour when I am pushed for time
