A trip round the curtilage of this property confirmed the best aspect for a painting. Though not a small plot, it was nevertheless a challenge to get the required distance to make a site sketch from the very corner of the garden, to avoid an overly distorted perspective. By moving around to avoid obstructions, it was possible to make the thumbnail in a couple of bites. Having agreed a price for the commission based on the sketch, I made a time to re-visit to take site photographs.
