Amazing

In 20+ years of being a professional artist I have lost count of the number of commissions I have produced. They come in all subjects, shapes and sizes, sometimes within a subject area familiar to me, sometimes off at a complete tangent to anything I have done before ( Like the jigsaw design I have shown elsewhere, book illustrations, calligraphy, product illustration and so on). My aim has always been to produce something of a quality as high as that of any other professional in each field. Property illustration is probably the single largest tranche of any of the subject areas, running well into three figures, only some of which I have kept as a record, which I now regret. This is typical; as is the approach - a visit to hear the clients thoughts; my (sometimes contradictory) two penn'orth - based on composition, selling points; lighting, modelling, time of day and so on; an A3 sketch usually made immediately on site to explain where I'm coming from, and an eventual painting
