Well, I think you've done a wonderful job of this Bobbie. A great sense of place, time and atmosphere.

Thank you everyone. I really enjoyed working on this piece so soon after I came back from the Isle of Man, while the mood of that evening at the end of our holiday was still fresh in my mind.

I've been working on this "against the light" evening view of Ramsey Harbour (Isle of Man) over the last 2 afternoons on dark grey (almost black) Sennelier pastel paper which has a lot of tooth (like sandpaper). It took a whole afternoon to develop the composition from one of my own photos and draw the outlines with pastel pencil; I then had great fun working quickly with my Jacksons soft pastel sticks.
