Nicely done Bobbie.

What a great subject Bobbie, and I like the look of grey sky rolling in.

I like it Bobbie

I too get fed up with solid blue or flat grey skies and will often invent my own cloudscapes depending on the mood I’m in. I love this one.

Thank you all. It was quite a threatening sky. I packed up quickly because I thought I might get wet!!

Well painted and good choice of suject Bobbie. I visited Bromfield in May as some of my ancestors were from the area - it's so beautiful!

This has a real moodiness about it which I like.

Good one Bobbie. I really like the tree.

Thank you everyone. The moodiness and the shapes of the silos - which look a bit like a row of tents - appealed to me. I realised when I finished I'd been painting for two and a half hours without my reading glasses, which is probably not a problem because I'm naturally long-sighted. I must do leave them off more often!

As well as brushes, I used several palette knives and my fingers.
