At the end of a damp afternoon on a short break in west Pembrokeshire I decided to sketch the view from our B&B. I didn't dare open any paint tubes in our immaculately decorated bedroom. so I began with a pencil sketch and coloured it with Hobbycraft brush pens - a bit of unfinished practice ahead of a plein air painting course in July.
