I like this very much. These old ‘ghost’ trees make wonderful subjects…as here.

Am liking your trees Bobbie

Croft Castle is a very interesting place and I've enjoyed your paintings of the Ghost trees there very much. You have captured their character very well Bobbie.

Very effective piece Bobbie.

Thank you Lewis, Heather, George and Andrew. I did the whole Ghost Trees walk - and revisited the part I walked in October - with my husband on New Years Eve; so there might be more tree pieces to come!!

This is the 1st of 2 monoprints I made of the Fourth Ghost from my own photos, a huge dead chestnut tree which stands like a sentinel. Coloured with soft pastel and coloured charcoal pencils.
