Monoprint from one of my own photos of a very large, convoluted branch brought down in a winter storm in 2019 from the Chestnut Avenue at Croft Castle. Hand coloured with soft pastel and coloured charcoal pencils. I see the abstract shape it makes as 2 hares boxing and my husband sees an eagle with a serpent in its beak.
