In 2018 I went on a Tenbury & District Art Club outing to see the Terracotta Warriors at Liverpool Museum. We were allowed to take photos, and I was struck by a model of 4 terracotta horses pulling a 2,200 year old metal carriage. Their different earthy colours really appealed, so I made a monoprint in March 2019 - and once it was dry, I coloured it with chalk pastels.
