Dahlias
When I finished my last oil, I had some expensive Michael Harding paints left on my palette - so I used them the following day to capture these colourful dahlias. The flowers were a riot of colour, so I just dived in without any preparatory drawings or underpainting, and I'm really pleased with the outcome.
