I was trying out my Jacksons handmade soft pastels on A3 Sennelier pastel paper in a very dark grey (almost black) my husband bought as a Christmas present. The Sennelier paper has much rougher surface with more tooth than the Canson MiTientes or Jacksons own brand paper I normally use. The surface of the Sennelier paper is like sandpaper, and I'm not sure I like the result.
