Mmmmm.....a lovely sense of peace and tranquility Brian. Love the glaze of the moonlight in the sky and on the water, sets the mood beautifully.

Thank you very much, Fiona, for the generous comments. Appreciated. This was an old canvas that needing painting over so I tried my luck with this one. It's a bit grainy and showing too much glare but I thought I'd post it anyway. I should be able to take the idea to a fresh canvas so all is not wasted. *grin* Best Bri

Lovely glow on this work Brian

Thank you very much, Dennis. I appreciate the comments. Bri

Really fine lovely work! Beautiful light through those trees! Love it, Brian!

A background to die for Brian, it really sets the scene to help create calm and tranquility.

Oooo I like this one Brian, I think it might be my favourite up to now, I could live with this on my wall anyday, beautifully painted 😀

Thank you very much, Thalia, Barry and Linda, for the super responses to this painting. I'm pleased as Punch that you like it because I wasn't sure at all. Just for a change. I think it's because I hummed and harred so much about this and that. *smile* Pleased you noticed the light through the trees, Thalia. I was initially drawn to the background, Barry, so it's good to read that it's working. Cheers. Linda, what a lovely thing to say. Bri

Oh Brian, this is beautiful! Another wow painting! I love the way the light comes through the trees and hits the water.

Thank you very much, Margaret, for the super comments. You're always so kind, and I'm SO pleased you liked this one. Thanks for the "Brill" Peter, it put a big smile on my face. Best to both Bri

Oil on canvas, 40 x 30 cms. This is from a free pixabay photo, which I've adjusted to an evening setting. Windermere is often a frantic honeypot of tourism activity, only ever calming down at night, when an amazing tranquility descends. More or less wet in wet.
