Very good Brian I recognised him instantly

Oh my goodness, Brian, that background! How did you manage that? Perfect tho', around Sir Bobby.

What a wonderful piece of work Brian. Must have taken hours to get that amount of detail, just amazing!

Thank you very much Denis and Marjorie. Very pleased you recognised him, Denis. He was one of my footballing heroes. Patience was the key to the background, Marjorie, and I wasn't really patient enough. Thanks to both for the comments. Appreciated. Brian

Thank you very much, Margaret, for the great visit. Appreciated. It DID take a long time, mainly because I was unsure of myself as I progressed. The trick was to stop when my head hurt and return later to tackle the next stage. I also set myself minimum targets. Brian

Great drawing, Brian. A mammoth task, well worth the effort involved.

Thanks, Lewis, for the kind and encouraging comments. It was one of those I've started so I'll finish moments. *smile* Brian

Great likeness Brian, and a fair man in his time......Michael

Thanks, Michael, for the kind comments. Appreciated. They all say he was a fair man and could always give credit where credit was due. Brian
