Smashing picture, just love every thing about it. Would love to have seen the watercolour for comparison.

Barry this is a lovely winter painting, you have given it a cold but pleasing atmosphere, crisp and bright. I like the feeling of depth it has too.

Peter and Fiona have beaten me to it. Lovely painting. It just has that cold crispness in the snow and the feeling of space.

Stumbled across this chilly scene in Gloucestershire on a bitterly cold walk in January 2010. At the time, I painted it in watercolour and then recently produced this second painting in acrylic.
