Strong contrasts and dreamy recession, another beautiful painting Barry!

Thank you Carole and Lewis, as this was closer to the shore I had more mud a weed to work with and this enabled me to have very strong contrasts.

Lovely Pim Mill scene, love those old barges and you have made a good job of them here.

I really like the simplicity of the hazy distance, the slight lean/ list of the main boat, and the mooring ropes.

The second painting from our day at Pin Mill. I must have been attracted by the colour blue that day as it’s another blue boat this time moored alongside a larger vessel and in front of a Thames Barge , it’s mast is visible and appears to belong to the boat in front.
