I think you are beyond the copying stage, Barry. Again, simple brush work that minimizes fuss and overworking. I love the darks and lights in this one. Thanks for sharing.

Having done a Steve Hall I felt compelled to do a picture in the style of John Hoar another one of my mentors. This time it's not a copy but from a photo I took last year on one of my early morning walks.
