Recognised the area immediately Barry, makes me want to go again!

Thank you Karen.

This is quite a large size using 90lb paper Barry and I can see that it has cockled, I tend to use 300lb Fabriano these days, expensive but lovely to work on. Anyway, another super piece, I have been to Porlock Weir and it's packed with painting subjects, I also would like to return.

Thanks Alan I am lucky to have a friend who lives in Porlock.

Lovely feeling of light here Barry, I recognise the scene from several others takes off this lovely spot,

I love sketching at this place, I did some right messy ones as the weather always deteriorates as soon as I get there. Brilliant job of capturing the essential.

Lovely painting Barry.Your work always has a lovely atmosphere to it.

Thanks everyone for your comments, just a note to Alan I photographed just after I had made some alterations and while it was still damp hence the slight cockling but it's fine now.

Love the palette in this Barry. A very fine painting.

Thank you Pete and Gudrun.
