For Thalia
As I had asked permission to have a go at this scene painted by Thalia I thought I should get on with it. I suggested putting in some people and have painted my version with them present. I have not managed to recreate that lovely glow that Thalia achieved and it’s a bit scruffy due to poor application in my first washes which has resulted in me not reserving enough white paper and the need to use white gouache for highlighting.
