lovely painting Brian . Must have cockled like crazy on 1/2 imperial 90lb paper . Let us have the secrets.

Lovely sky and distant hills, the foreground trees seem to block the view a little.

It turned out beautiful, Barry. Great landscape, strong colours, well done.

Thanks Chris, I work fairly wet and don't stretch the paper just secured with tape and have very few problems. Talked with Arnold Lowrey at Patchings last year and he paints on full imperial 90lb without stretching he secures his with a series of bulldog clips which allows some movement in the paper.

Painted on half imperial Arches rough 90lb using a Winsor blue, Indian Red, Raw Umber Burnt Sienna palette. Used the back of a failed painting as I wasn't sure how it would turn out.
