It's a beauty Barry, and I also love the horizon being kept loose, that little white cottage was the finishing touch, adding a focal point and balance.

Thank you Alan and Dennis, this has reminded me how much l like building big skies which is much easier with acrylics and oils. Based on this I don’t think a dip back into this type of subject is far away, watch this space!!

Looking through some of my old acrylic paintings and found this old gem painted in 2013 that I had completely forgotten about. Also a few others that I might post if I can find the camera and take some better photos.
