Thank you Sandra, I did intend doing more during the winter but circumstances meant I was limited but I hope to do a few more in the future.

Nice work Barry looks nice and bright , how did you get on with the water based oils are they smelly and does it take ages for them to dry .

Thanks Dennis, they work well drying is similar to traditional oils, as far as smell is concerned I’m not the best to ask as my sense of smell is poor but they are obviously better as no solvents are involved.

On Friday I was at the Bath Carers Centre with a Art Group I helped set up for Carers. Being a volunteer and Trustee I try and attend when I can. One of the group had taken a photo of clouds and wondered how he might tackle the job of painting a picture of the scene. Continuing my excursion into oils I have done a quick sketch trying to catch the feeling of the clouds scurrying across the sky. I used water mixable oils on a canvas pad.
