Glad you enjoyed the pint Barry beautiful painting

Beautiful painting. Dark colours, but so fresh - I love it.

Go Barry. Fine effort.

Great painting Barry.

What a cracker Barry....love it!

very nice Barry , this is a view I know very well and its always beautiful

Beautiful strong contrasts in this ,Barry!

Super painting of a great scene.

Thanks everyone love your comments.

Another Terrific painting.

Many thanks Skylar and Margaret.

Beautiful painting as ever, Barry.

Your colours and whole composition are great.

Wish I'd been with you Barry for the painting and the pint... This is a stunner in all respects, perfect composition and the little figure on the left balances the whole thing out so well.

Thanks Alan, would have loved to share a pint and a yarn.

Lovely atmospheric painting.

Very good painting Barry, nice light and it's great you added that figure on the left. It's hard to get things right en plein-air, especially near water as it reflects quite a lot and it's hard to make sense of the many boats, but you nailed it well once again.

Thanks to Rita, Ibolya and Maureen, I loved painting it.

Fabulous painting, Barry. Well deserving of that pint.

Thank you Pete, what made it even better was that the sun was shining and I could enjoy it outside with that beautiful view.

I can feel the hard wet sand under my shoes. Excellent.

Thank you Gudrun, I can receive no better compliment.

At Pin Mill today painted Plein air with a large dollop of artistic licence on Arches 90lb rough half imperial paper. Lovely day for painting and of course enjoying a pint at the Butt and Oyster.
