Remembering a Sunny but Cold Day at Woodbridge
This is a studio work done from a painting I did a couple of years ago an a visit to Woodbridge Mill. I remember getting freezing cold as there was a chilly breeze blowing up the estuary where I was standing. Luckily I paint quickly and was able to get my painting done quickly. I think it is true what many artists say that you retain a memory of a place if you have sketched or painted there and I think this has come out in this effort.
