Santa Maria Della Salute
I am very lucky that I have several painting friends to socialise and paint outside with, four of us meet for a meal every two weeks and each choose a challenge to be painted before the next meal. This painting is my first attempt (as you can see we take the challenge very seriously) and I may do another on a more suitable paper. This is quarter imperial Fabriano practice paper 130llb. I wanted to do something slightly different and so used a active sky and mainly used tone in the buildings. I feel it's a bit rough and ready but like the concept.
