I think its a great plein air painting which has atmosphere and beautiful light . I'm not sure what you think is 'awful' about the car as it looks fine to me. Enjoy your painting holiday

Second plein air session this year in preparation for painting holiday at Dedham Hall next week. Went to a little village close to home with a few friends. This is as it comes Bockingford half imperial 200 lb, the car is awful but reasonably pleased with the rest. Ended up with a lovely pub lunch in the Seven Stars.
