I love the loose and expressive feel to this painting Barbara

Actually it's quite small probably only 40x30 cms framed without glass I think

I like this...it has a great atmosphere and composition that draws one into the frame and beyond. It would make a good mural...I'd do it 120 x 90cm. Incidentally, don't you think that you are trying to impress dinosaurs?

I like it to but find it a bit flat...I am a trained sculptor so really have a thing about texture....found new products to texture watercolours! Amazing. I always have more ideas than time to complete them ...I love working large but there is not much call for large in the small stone houses of Rutland! And storing larger canvases becomes an issue. The best one I did was a commission 1.4 metres wide x 1.7 metres for a garden room which had an additional 3-4 feet above and below. I have found business centres great for free storage for larger pieces, they even sold some. I totally agree about the dinosaurs some probably know nothing about 3d printing technology and its processes which I think will be the next hot thing. And I'd like it to be mine!! I wanted the intro to a large city exhibition more than the need for an elitist group. Their 3 line rejection letter did say I may apply again!! Whoopee! But perhaps they have another preprinted letter that says don't bother! I hadn't considered I might be one of the lucky rejectees

A simple straight forward painting just acrylic with some pastel.....not even a texture paste in sight so I could have chosen this one if I had know the society who rejected my mixed media 3D work as not traditional enough, really wanted calm restful pieces.
