Forget societies and what they like. They are too often run by self-appointed 'worthies' who just love the power and control of saying 'yeah' and 'nay' depending on the mood of the moment. I like your work...unlike much of the 'abstract' work here, it has a fresh feel to it, colours and forms well balanced and because it's so tactile, needs to be touched! Good stuff!

Stunning colors and texture!

Thank you. It was part of a series painted in spring time in Spain. I love the light there but also like deep rich tones.....my 'dark' side. The painting has high sculptural relief on the flowers. I frame quite a lot of my work for exhibition, many buyers worry about longevity and dust. I use museum quality glass that is so clear you can hardly see it and it doesn't then detract from the colour or the texture. My framer calls it magic glass because you have to touch it to see it! I design my work to be touched because as a sculptor I love the feel on things. It is also great for people with visual impairment to interact with painting.
