Well after much procrastinating today I finally attempted an oil painting I'd prepared but had been avoiding. It's only my 2nd oil portrait and my first without tuition since attending the Scottish School of Classical Art in Glasgow some months ago. Really enjoyed the process, lot's to learn and I'm taking that aquired knowledge into my next painting, onwards. Sir William Curtis, 1st Baronet (1752 - 1829)
