what a sense of humour. This really made me smile. Love the painting in the background it's pretty windy. Don't know about the cat but the fish doesn't seem to like it either! Excellent composition.

Another gem, Anni, you are a real tonic

Hi Jeanette, Glad it made you smile. I personally don't like very windy days, I feel sorry for the wee fish too. Thanks for looking. :) ~ Anni

Hi there Robert, Thanks for your comment, glad you found it funny :D ~ Anni

Another vibrant painting with lots of humour in it. You must be fun to know! Well done.

What a smile it induced on the dullest wettest Sunday morning...I can now face it with a big grin...well done.

Thanks Val, I can't answer your question...you'll have to answer my partner ;) I do have a vivid imagination though, might explain why I have several dreams each night and remember them well (good fodder for painting). Cheers ~ Anni

Hi Phil, We've had one of the wettest Augusts for years here. I can sympathize with the effect it has on the spirit but this weekend we have had a reprieve, no rain! Makes me pleased to hear you grinned at this...mission accomplished :D ~ Anni

Anni, your paintings are like a breath of fresh air. This has got to be my most favourite, makes me laugh every time I look at it - especially the cat's face! I have had a look at all your paintings on Angelfire and each one is special in different ways. I always look forward to seeing what you've done next! :-) Martine x

Glad they are a breath of fresh air Martine, better than a blast of hot air :) Kind of you to say so. I am ...have always been a cat lover too. I think we all can see funny situations in everyday life. I wrote a short comedy play with some friends few months back, oh the fun...it is being performed next month locally :) Without a sense of humour we are all lost. Thanks for stopping to comment, it is much appreciated. :D ~ Anni x

My cat HATES the hairdryer (and the vacuum cleaner) so I thought I'd paint this. I got carried away with the hairdryer's power, as you can see. Acrylic on canvas. Visit me at: www.angelfire.com/art2/annimorris/
