I could never get tired of Venice! Lovely watercolour.

Venice is a city that was built I think just for artists there is so much there with so much scope. Cannaletto never got tired of it I have looked at his paintings many times and always get inspired by them. I am at present touching up a painting that I did of Venice many years ago but I got the shadows coming from the wrong direction. I really like your painting, you have got the buildings exactly right. eaves.

Eaves, please do post your painting when you have finished it. Venice is a difficult place to paint anything original (a bit like Florence) but always a pleasure to see the responses to it. Get away from the crowds, and then get away from more crowds and THEN enjoy!!!
