This is really lovely painting it's a change of colour scheme for you and I am a sucker for blues. Are you an illustrator by any chance? Your paintings are always beautifully done.

Thank you Joy. No I'm not an illustrator it's just my style of painting. I find blue can take over a painting (I use Prussian Blue) so I use it with care but sometimes it just seems to be the right colour to use. :)

Your get such a lovely muted quality into your work. This is charming with wonderful colours.

Prussian Blue is nearly always the right colour to use - we've been warned off it for far too long. Diatribe halted.... Lovely panting, let's see many more.

A rather stylistic painting of the bridge over the Afon Elwy at Llanfair T.H., North Wales beside a meadow that has been part of an environmental enhancement sheme. See www.conwy.gov.uk/doc.asp?cat=501&doc=1766&Language=1 The bridge in the painting is not the one shown in the article but a far prettier one that leads to the village itself. Pen & Watercolour 35cm x 35cm.
