Another beautiful piece, Anne! The petals are so lively and I love the way you add so much interest to the background yet manage to keep it unobtrusive.

Thank you all for your comments. I was in two minds whether to post this one as it was not a typicallly 'pretty' picture but that is exactly how the poor flowers looked after the rain. The phrase 'drowned rat' comes to mind!!!! They perked up the next day though. :) Yes Fiona it did take me hours :) but that's OK because I enjoyed it!

I really like this one Anne perhaps because it isn't a' typically pretty picture' as you say, It is an interesting and beautiful painting just the same, lovely work.
