Angie, this I magnificent, love it.

thank you Jenny x

Stunning Angie. A lot of work has gone into this. Love the reflections of the teapot. Keep thinking I'll try something with reflections in but haven't got up the courage yet.

Oh what a dazzler. So just paint, paint, paint Angie.

Very nice

The detail in this is wonderful Angie - it is a superb painting!

It's marvellous Angie , it would beasterly if you made it less busy simplify the background and theain items would sing out , as it is they get a little lost ,so although superbly painted I think it could be even better. I always mean well and think your talented.

Lovely, and very realistic

Superb, like all your paintings are Angie.

Tremendous detail with great skills shown here. Smashing job

Thank you John, Adele, Janet, Paul, Julie, Anne, Satu and Derek for your kind comments. Adele - please don't be scared to try reflections - they aren't as hard as you think! Dennis, I do appreciate your comment and I suspect you are right - the painting is too busy! I just can't resist patterns! I don't know whether this is something I will mature out of as I'm still very much a learner at the moment :) x

Stunning painting, Angie!

Amazing work Angie despite being a bit cluttered.

You have clearly mastered shiny silverware...please do not stop! Lovely paintings. D

Amazing work Angie!

This is the best painting that I have ever seen on this site and, believe me! I've been looking on here for years ! Fabulous !

Beautiful work, Angie!

Lovely painting, but I agree with Dennis, the items would stand out more if the background was less busy.

Lovely painting. Your eye is really guided around the whole image. Can i ask, do you start with a coloured background in your work? If so it really works to great effect.

Thanks for your kind comments everyone! Joanne, I do start off with a coloured background - I always use an acrylic wash of burnt sienna, which dries very quickly.

Lovely composition. I like the way the teapot was painted.
