Why thankyou David,and Stephen, it was called New Street Primary school, Pocklington, Yorkshire. We lived there for about five years and then moved out to a country village. The school is now a centre for youths, quite far removed! These ancient buildings do inspire! Am writing Memoirs and odd drawings for the grandchildren.

Thankyou Denise, Anne, and Spencer for your comments on this Cof E Primary school from days of yore! Yes, I have fond memories of my junior school days and suppose while writing Memoirs one needs to sketch the olden days school! I always loved drawing and got muddled in choosing career so went into Medical studies but wanted to go to Art College, however did attend Art college in later years when our children grew up! Shall always remember my Art teacher at secondary school , bless him as he knew I loved Art in those nimble days, however travel probably changed us and you know it runs in our veins! Thankyou all for your feedback on this sketch.
