Pencil work is excellent Angela, perhaps a bit more depth in the tonal range… have you looked at the Wolff’s carbon pencils? They’ll give you a deeper tone altogether!

Many thanks Stephen,Coral,David,Heather, and yes Alan shall continue working on developing depth as from times of old I always needed to go bold ....carbon pencils or maybe pwn and ink? Haven't heard of Wolff's carbon pencils as yet, shall look next time I'm at our local Dean's Art store. Thankyou for your encouragement Alan, much appreciated!

A recent Comic Art drawing of Emu guarding the eggs while Blue tongue lizard encroaches .....I did add some light brown for Emus feathers and pale blue for Lizards tongue.. Am creating a pictorial book for our youngest grandaughter who loves Emus. Might add pen/ink at some stage unsure as yet as 2b and 3b pencil seems to give a bold effect, will see? Any suggestions welcome!
