Explosion of Breakers - In Progress - July 2013

Comments

This is the last of the three paintings I started on holiday last week in the east coast of England near Whitby; it is based on a photograph I took of dramatic seas that very windy July evening, with spectacular collisions between incoming and reflected waves off Hartlepool headland, caught in the beautiful evening sunlight, breaking through clouds. Some way to go yet, but what do you think of it so far? Love and God bless 🙂❤️🙏🕊🌊🌊

The composition is perfect Andrew. That wave really draws the viewer’s eye into the water. The monochrome effect has also worked very well. God Bless 🌈🌈🌈🌞🌞🌞

Thank you for all the feedback on this painting; it's been a manic couple of weeks and will be next week but will post the finished painting as soon as it's ready, helped and encouraged by that lovely feedback; always appreciated. Love and God bless 😃❤️🙏🕊

Stunning artwork, Andy. The colours reflect the power and danger in the sea when it's like this. I can hear the roar of the wind and smell the ozone in this painting. Absolutely mesmerising. 🤗♥️🌹xxx

Thank you, dear Jacqueline, for that fabulous affirming, and focused feedback, not least as I know you live near the sea and have seen great waves on so many occasions! Much love and God bless, my lovely friend 🙂🙏🕊🌊❤️xxxx

I've been touched and amazed at the lovely feedback on this half-finished painting, which I confess, because life keeps getting in the way, I haven't finished yet, but it's been a joy to read all your lovely feedback, my friends. Much appreaciated! Love and God bless xxx

Spectacular outcome of two breakers crashing into each other as one is reflected from a sea wall
