The Yew Tree Tunnel

Comments

This is my fourth painting journey-themed series for Lent this year; it's of Apley Woods; when my father-in-law was a boy, this was the main drive up to Apley Castle with trimmed, low hedges and older trees either side, but over several decades that trimmed hedge has grown, unchecked, to become what it is now; a magical walk for local people and visitors, the highlight of Apley Woods in Shropshire. Enjoy; love and God bless, Andy

This is the most intriguing painting with the beautiful colours and dappled reflected light. The pathway certainly leads you to a mystical place , love it, well done Andrew xx

Absolutely love this, Andy. Beautiful vibrant colours, that lead to the tunnel. A little piece of heaven right here on earth. How lovely to live near such a place. Such delicate and intricate work, Andy. Well done on such a beautiful painting. ❤️xx
