I wanted this to represent God's particular compassion for those who care for others; God bless, Andy

I admire the way you’ve managed to give weight to the figures Andrew which I know can be difficult. The front figure is particularly good. Well done x

Thank you Linda; that's really lovely feedback, my friend! love and God bless, Andy xx

Beautiful interpretation of his love for fellow man. There to support them in times of stress. Another brilliant piece of art x

This has great emotion - like it a lot. The over exaggerated foreshortening of the legs is very powerful

Thank you Heather for that feedback, especially re the legs! peace & love, God bless, Andy 🙂 x

I love the simplicity of the setting which allows the viewer to zoom into the passion and emotion of this beautiful cameo. So much caring has ensued in all kinds of settings, as a result of this pandemic. I have experienced so much generosity of spirit from those around me that it fills me with hope that this wake up call, will ultimately benefit humankind.

Lovely brave sentiment and depiction Andy. God is with us all the time , guarding loving, caring and watching over us. all. Good work.

Thank you Jim, for that very affirming feeback! peace & love, God bless, Andy 🙂

A thought provoking painting well executed.

For those who don't understand the title, it comes from the promise of Jesus "Come unto me all that are heavy-laden and I will give you rest" and the implication of the context of that verse implies that IT particularly applies to those who are serving his 'Kingdom of God', of justice, love, compassion and mercy; it seemed to me that medical staff fighting a pandemic powerfully exemplify such service; enjoy! God bless, Andy :)

Thank you Christine for that lovely feedback! peace & love, God bless, Andy 🙂❤️

Thank you for all your lovely comments; hugely appreciated; for those who wondered; I've left a deliberate ambivalence about Jesus' colour, as those people that I met In my two trips to Israel were not consistently the same shade by any means, but he's not intended to be white; God bless, Andy

I find this very moving.

Why do I paint? Art touches the heart when words are not enough Therefore I paint With love To speak to you 🙂🥰🙏🏻🕊🌹

I’ve always loved water, its movement, its colour, its power. I had the privilege of working as a hydrologist for nine years before ordination, necessarily but enjoyably observing the movement of water in full flow or even in floods. That was thirty years ago but my love for moving water has not…
