This looks fabulous Linda! Really like the feeling of shallow water in the foreground and the sense of space and depth.

Lovely painting Linda.

Good one Linda

Thank you Fiona, Linda and Heather, I appreciate your comments, Linda thank you for your comment on the forum, I do have difficulty in mixing colours but with yours and Roberts advice I will work on experimenting with them.

Really lovely, Linda!

I’m not seeing too much wrong here regarding colours Linda, we all see and interpret things differently. I never try and copy nature, that’s why I’m an artist and not a photographer! Splendid job in all respects.

This is great, Linda. I love your style very much!

Lovely painting Linda, it's got a Scottish sky too!

Lovely work Linda. I hear distant bagpipes....(-:

I feel if I went there, I would want to stay. Lovely.

Lovely painting Linda. I like your distinctive style

Thank you all for such positive comments. Alan I couldn't agree more, if I wanted it to look like a photograph I would have put the original on the wall!! Thank you Willie, its a made up sky, like the weather it changed from one day to the next LOL, and Jim , why didn't I think of putting a Scottish piper in instead of the tree!!! It would have been much more interesting, maybe next time!!!

As always Linda and the birds add to the effect.
