You are getting so good at this type of painting Linda. Excellent washes and colour choices.

I agree with Paul, Linda: this is fab!

Another stunner Linda

You get better and better with these Linda.

Thank you Paul, Mia, Hilary and Richard, your comments are always welcome and appreciated. Linda

Lovely touches of colour Linda, not overworked! Just an observation and I know that you won’t mind, but the roof lines look a little too bold, drop down to a 0.1 nib if you’re using a profipen or similar!

Thanks Alan and no I don't mind at all, you know I'm always open for advice, I used a no 0.5 uni pen, and I can see what you mean.

I’m loving this series of paintings in this style Linda. The foreground is wonderfully textures and loose. Thanks for the tip ref negative painting x

I thought as much! Drop down a few nib sizes and you’ll see the improvement.

The pen work here is so much better for being a little lighter Linda. It fits in nicely with the brushwork scene and highlights it rather than overpowering it. Nice work.

Great use of mixed media and a superb result Lina.

Love the format. Really works with this scene Linda.

Your style is lovely Linda like it a lot

Beautiful Linda!

Very good work Linda, like the vignette approach.

Thanks to you all, Fiona, Jim, Carole, Audrey, Heather, Gillian, Stephen, and Maureen for your comments. Alan I will definitely use a finer pen next time. I might darken the roofline of so the pen work looks a bit less harsh.

A very effective combination of media and an enviably loose style.

Thank you James for your very kind comment.

Loving these sketches, Linda, super pen work and just the right amount of colour, enhanced by all the white space. I especially like the contrasting foreground in this one.

I really like your crisp and uncluttered treatment of this mixed media stunner Linda.

Absolutely gorgeous painting Linda.

Thank you Jenny, Brian and Carolyn for taking the time to look and comment.
