This is beautiful. I really love the palette and the lines draw I the eyes right.

Really nice pen work Linda especially on the wall in the front, the overall pallet is definitely the Coe, I spent many winters climbing in the Coe and surrounding areas you have really done it justice, nice one.

Beauty in smallness

A super pen and wash, Linda. Love your colour palette!

Lovely composition, pen work and colours, Linda. Also like the square format.

A really good pen and wash painting Linda. You have caught the ruggedness of the Glen, the sky colours look to be threatening a snow storm.

Love everything about this one, Linda, the drawing, the palette the perspective. great painting.

Great pen and colours ! Super sky and birds.

Thank you all for your encouraging and positive comments, the Scottish highlands have such amazing colours, its great to experiment with these small watercolours even if some don't turn out as expected. I have done another two today, but i'll post them later in the week in case you get fed up!!!

Lovely little pen and wash, Linda.

Love your pen work Linda.

Great boldness and atmosphere in this pen and ink wash Linda. A great variation of pen marks, which really help to make this stand out so beautifully.

Beautiful work Linda. Your palette and ink captures the atmosphere perfectly

Beautiful workLinda

Small is good Linda. This is lovely and I think you are on a roll! It’s good to do something a little different in size etc and this is working so well.

You’ve captured the majesty of this area Linda, as well as the ruggedness of the rocks with you pen work.

Many thanks Katy, Dawn, Carole, Sam, Romila, Tessa and Fiona, as always your comments are always encouraging.
