Linda this is just delightful! Love the colours and the way you have painted the flowers, they make a super backdrop to your gorgeous bee.

Wow, thank you all for such generous comments, think I should have renamed it Homing In, I feel the bee is a wee bit big for the flower, you always see your mistakes better when you see it photographed😟

Love the format /composition . I like the way the flowers are limited colour and the one under the bee is smaller . Really effective

Another bee painting, this time I have gone straight in with some splatter work, then painted some background and flower outlines in watercolour in shades of lemon and green, finished with gel pen and white uni pen. 4 x 8 on Hahnemuhle 300grm watercolour paper.
