25 x 20 cm, gouache. This was a first attempt at gouache only and painted with one flat brush. Rather a complicated subject at that scale and larger would have suited that one brush but a good learning curve. I had painted part of this scene years ago in oil and it just asked to be studied and tackled again but in a different way.
