Incredible piece of detailed artwork.

Yes, a lot of research as being just post war the uniform he wore was not what was then usually worn for the installation. Quite different again in my father's time.

This was a commission by a member of his family and shows the Field Marshal in the uniform he wore when he was installed as the Constable of HM Tower of London, a position which my father also held at a later date. The customer was not aware of the connection when he approached me!
