Amazing detail, superb painting.

This is lovely - ordinary objects against a very recognisable place. I like the way you've focused the colour on the fishing gear in the foreground.

Beautiful subtle tones and details, and a very satisfying composition. Excellent.

I agree, art is in everything. Beautiful patterns, shapes and light. Super work Alice!

Super detail and composition.

Superb, what more can I say!

You have certainly caught the light and atmosphere in this painting, superb perspective.

Like this one a lot , the detailing in the ropes etc is outstanding.

Beautifully painted Alice. Quite funny (and pointless) to see one of your own drawings in the How to Guides included in this posting. I like the painting and the drawing very much.

What can be discounted as utilitarian, everyday objects can become glistening treasures in the right light.
