Highly accomplished drawing Alice. I love the overall composition and the textures you have in this piece, making it all the more interesting and compelling

Excellent. Great angle with the railings and the steps.

I can see why it’s one of your favourite views Alice! Very sketchable and you’ve made a wonderful job of it.

Lovely, lovely sketch, fantastic details, great work 👍😀

Outstanding work Alice.

Really like the way the foreground textures give way to less detail as the distance increases. Together with the composition this give a real sense of perspective. Great drawing.

Wow, the detail in this is incredible.

Much more than a simple sketch I feel, a masterly drawing Alice.

Composition, textures, perspective - all superb.

Beautiful detailed drawing and composition.

Beautifully drawn. A stunning, atmospheric, drawing.

Beautifully done, Alice.

Outsanding Alice in every way

Superb piece of art Alice. I think you loved creating this.

Absolutely stunning, a great drawing with so much detail.

Masterful, Alice ...far more than a sketch! Superb!

Beautiful drawing and composition. I would just love to see a couple of people walking in there some where.

Love the textures, detail & the storytelling & not an automobile in sight. (I'm guessing that was artists licence).

Superb, Alice. In a class of its own.

A superb, skilled, and talented drawing, Alice. As someone who finds drawing quite a challenge, I find it breathtaking.

32x42cm, mixed media. This is a drawing of one of my favourite views of Helston, looking down the steps of St Michael’s Church. I loved drawing the different textures of the weathered granite, the cobbled steps and the bark of the twisted branches. This scene makes me think of the many people who have walked up and down these steps; to imagine the stories of the families who have lived in the houses, whose histories are intertwined like the branches of the tree that forms the arch over the cobbled steps
