I love this. Your colours are so fresh.

Agreed wholeheartedly, the village buildings that we can see are painted so precisely, and your use of the washes on and around them is beautiful, the road leading into the village looks so inviting, you have surpassed yourself here Alan!

Very nicely done!

A lovely painting as usual Alan

I love your comments ,good or bad, the surprise to me is that you like this one .it is a limited palette no greens at all /being honest I dont like these kind of paintings myself .so it just goes to show we dont know everything do we,? hee hee , we all have different likes and dislikes dont we ,I dont know the resolution but if you look close .you can see pencil lines used to darken places(bridge) (a thing T.W did with his lolly stick and black ink..I preffer black acrylic for that purpose )the red roof was to contrast with the blue church sides ,and with a predominance of yellow another colour was called for hence the blue, thanks for looking in ,Alan

One of my favourites so far. Love the balance achieved between the left and right sides.

You have excellent lively watercolour landscapes. Ever think about making a small calendar to give to friends or to sell? Great work
