... and it shows the heat that we are experiencing. I'm glad I am not playing tennis ....

Nice colours and tones, Alan, and I like the loose style after I know who! Lovely painting - maybe the church spire is a bit too much "centre"?

Captured the light beautifully Alan, lovely painting!

Another lovely watercolour Alan, I like how you have set the buildings and trees against the light sky.

thank you all ..Ted Wesson often painted into the sun,,,,,, well not exactly with the sun right behind facing him. but,,,with the sun behind yes , but not fully behind,, ..how hard is this to explain but slightly behind to give an outline and make the trees jet black almost ,maybe an expert could explain... in a clock it would be ten past or ten to twelve say ..with you standing at six clock with the subject in the centre .I am lost here help /// ask Rowland Hillder wow beam me up Scotty. wowo

After my favourite, painted by my favourite.......lovely Alan!

Alan hello I am a retired lady who has started watercolour painting and love your videos Have you written any books as it would be lovely to have one by one's side

Had to chuckle at your description of painting into the light; although it's something I have to practice more. I like this picture of course. A lovely sky, and your trademark trees. I can feel the village baking under a countryside Sun! I try to get this effect, but my vision of what I see doesn't always transpose into a painterly effect. I must keep at it I suppose! Thanks Alan. John
